i am not sure whether adults like to eat candy or not, in some people's opinion, candy seems belong to childhood, and with a lof of nice memory on it.
in the Movie " Kongfu", a rounded Candy cane with rainbow strip remind us of so many nice love story, and it also contribute a lot to the candy business.
