Steph:  It’s that time of year again where all the people in the record industry are gonna start getting awards for the Grammy’s[/def].

Derek:  I know. It’s a pretty cool time because you get to, uh, see all the musicians play on the show and see some of your favorite bands.

Steph:  Totally. Who do you want to win for the Best Record of the year?

Derek:  Best Record of the year. Well, maybe the Black-Eyed Peas because I like them. They’re very creative and.

Steph:  That’s true. But did you hear that Ray Charles was nominated.

Derek:  Yeah, but ya know I’m not the biggest Ray Charles fan.

Steph:  Right. But that would be really cool if he won, ya know, post-humously.

Derek:  Yeah. I suppose as far as, uh, nostalgia goes, that would be good.

Steph:  Do you know there’s a band called Los Lonely Boys?

Derek:  You know, I’ve heard of them but I’ve never listened to them really.

Steph:  Neither have I. But they were nominated, too. It’s kind of a surprise. Maybe they’ll be the underdog.

Derek:  Maybe and then they’ll rise to the top and win everything.

Steph:  That could happen.

Derek:  You never know.
