Migs:  So, Kyle. How was graduation?

Kyle:  Graduation was great, Migs. I like to look at graduation as a coming of age ceremony.

Migs:  Huh? I’m not sure I’m following you.

Kyle:  Well, my education is finished and it’s time to go out and get a job.

Migs:  Oh, really? Where do you think you’re going to work?

Kyle:  Hopefully in a law office somewhere around here.

Migs:  But don’t you want to like have some fun, see the world before, you know, you get a job?

Kyle:  I’ve had my days of fun. It’s time to get my hands dirty and make a living.

Migs:  Well, that’s admirable, I guess. You’re really following the American dream. When do you think you’re going to get your house with the little white-picket fence?

Kyle:  That’s going to be in the future a ways. Right now I’m looking for that red sports car.

Migs:  Oh, that will be cool.

Kyle:  Yeah, and with the top down and the wind in my hair, I’ll be making a scene.

Migs:  You’re going to get all the ladies.

Discussion

As you can tell by Kyle’s voice, he’s really happy to be done with school. He seems to want to get a job and start earning money as soon as possible. I can understand his feelings after being in school so long. What about you? What kind of job do you want when you graduate? If you have already graduated from school, how was your first job? Do you still have it now? Have you changed jobs a couple of times? Come to the Ebaby! Message Board and tell us your story at the “Life Goes On” section! Until next time,—John
